Siyue Zhu is a product designer born in China and attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2020. Zhu is a strong logical thinker who excels in rigorous observation and research. In this process, she analyzes and defines the problem and then works to find a way to solve it. In Zhu's work, her ability to pull out and simplify is demonstrated, and her meticulous attention to detail adds to the design solutions. Her experience in art school also gives her serious and functional designs an artistic and playful element.
Zhu comes from a society that has been compressed in recent times, that is, where material development has been rapid, but the spiritual dimension has not yet kept pace. At the same time, such development has created various social communities. As a result, she grew up with a love of quietly observing the world around her and then analyzing the reasons behind interesting phenomena. After being exposed to product design, she tried to find ways to improve the undesirable phenomena.
Zhu is more of an observer than a brave pioneer on the front line. Her creative conceptual designs reflect her concern for social issues and her expectation for world development.
